Advances in technology have changed the face of education in countless ways over the past decade.  Changes such as more rapid communication via e-mail, research information distributed over the worldwide web, the consolidation of course materials through CD-ROM, and the development of more accessible digital media have put a new spin on educational methods and materials.  The list of new technologies and the changes to education that come with them grows longer every day.  E-learning and distance learning are the buzzwords zipping through the education community, and businesses are scrambling to take advantage of this new market.
